³² This was to fulfill what Jesus had said when he indicated the kind of death he was to die.

³³ The First Hearing before Pilate. Then Pilate went back into the praetorium, and having summoned Jesus he asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” ³⁴ Jesus answered, “Are you saying this on your own, or have others told you about me?”
